What happens at prenatal care appointments?
Your first appointment
Take height, weight, blood pressure, breathing and pulse measurements
Conduct breast and pelvic exams
Get a Pap test (if indicated)
Test for STIs
Screen for diabetes, anemia, hepatitis B and rubella
